We’re all moved in now. Our stuff was all delivered and we’ve spent the last few days somehow cramming it into our condo, which is about a third the size of our Emirates apartment. I’ve spent what seems like endless hours hauling boxes around, and my feet hurt and my hands are swollen. I’m 40 years old and have always been a white collar worker, so all this hauling is hard on me. Now that everything is in place, the condo is quite nice. A little cramped, but we’ll be comfortable here. Bug is very happy to have his toys back. We had cable and internet installed today, to finish it all off, and we now have HBO, Cinemax, and… drumroll… HD. I have an HDTV but there was no HD in the Emirates, so I haven’t been able to appreciate my TV properly. Let me tell you something. HD rocks. Maybe you already know this, but I’ve been out in the bush for the last 9 years remember, and so HDTV is actually somewhat new for me. And it kicks ass.
